High School Information
First Day of School 2022-2023
Students should log in to all courses (no specific time mandated) on either Odysseyware or Google Classroom to read teachers' welcome messages and familiarize themselves with their classes. Please email James. Metcalf@mpls.k12.mn.us with questions about logging in or technology.
Class Schedules/Schedule Changes
Student schedules for 2022-2023 are available on the Student and Parent Portals. If you do not see an active schedule, please email your school counselor, Ms. Marran, @ elizabeth.marran@mpls.k12.mn.us.
If you would like to request a schedule change, please fill out this schedule change request form and your school counselor will get back to you via email.
PLEASE NOTE: Students are placed in classes based on graduation requirements, grade level, previous courses on transcript, and student choice. Please reference the MPS Graduation Requirements grid for more information on your course sequence. If you believe that you are in the wrong class (for example, you are placed in English 10 but you are an 11th grader) or in a class that does not fit your interests (for example, you are in an arts elective class and want to change it to a foreign language)
For quarter 1, students have until Friday, 9/16 (2 weeks), to request a schedule change. Not all schedule changes can be honored as some classes are graduation
requirements or other various reasons. See form for more details.
